I absolutely loved this poem! I made sure to send this to my aunt who is a teacher and she enjoyed it so much. I liked his passion and the way he expressed his love for teaching.

WOW!  This is something that I will have to show to my rather conservative friends.  Both of my parents have been teachers; in fact, they met in Cameroon, Africa while teaching as a part of the Peace Corps.  I absolutely love teachers and what they do, what they sacrifice for we the students.  They are the ones who train the future, and they are the ones responsible to make sure that each and every kid has the tools to succeed in life.  It is not an easy task, yet somehow teachers pull through.  I really enjoyed listening to this poem, and I hope this guy comes to Writers Week soon to say this poem to our student body!

Woah! The power and ferocity with which he addressed this issue is just truly remarkable. As a speaker, he seemed to jump right out of the screen and into the room in in right now. I'm very glad that he spoke up for who he is and what he is, and how he defended teachers. It seems to me like teachers are very under appreciated and their value is sometimes not considered to be what it should be. Without teachers, we really wouldn't be where we are today, and we really wouldn't be able to go where we want to go.
