Ariel Meets Cinder(ella)

“Imagine there was a cure, but finding it would cost you everything. It would completely ruin your life. What would you do? (Meyer 229).          Everyone knows of the Disney princess, Ariel, and her struggles as she transitions from a mermaid to a human. She has to sacrifice part of her freedom and identity in order to obtain this wish to become a human. This is similar to both Cinder and Prince Kai in Cinder by Marissa Meyer because they have…See More

Popularity? Please, Give Me a Break

If you have read my book blogs before, you probably figured out by now how difficult it is for me to enjoy a book. Well guess what, I finally found one OoO! To be honest I didn't actually think I'd like this book but a friend recommended it to me so I gave it a shot. Legend, by Marie Lu, comes from the perspective of two people who alternate viewpoints each chapter. One of the viewpoints come from June, who is born into a royal family and recognized as a prodigy. The other comes from…See More

My Rant on 13 Idiots from the Book "13 Reasons Why" by Jay Asher and What I Learned from Them

Suicide was a painful and difficult decision Hannah Baker decided to make. Of course she did not think about it right away, but a continuation of unfortunate, horrible events had to occur in order for her to make up her mind. Thanks to these 13 jerks, which will be named soon, a game of tug-of-war was played with my emotions while…See More

The 3D’s Reasons Why You Should Read the Creepy, Bone Shivering Books “Deep and Dark and Dangerous” and “Bone Gap”

Guilt haunts everyone’s mind for life, but it’s not a ghost that actually follows you around to get revenge on you for past sins, or is it? In the ghost story, Deep and Dark and Dangerous (Why not Deep, Dark and Dangerous? I don’t know either.) written by Mary Downing Hahn, is about a thirteen year old girl, Ali, who goes on vacation to a place where her mom dreads to think about, Webster’s Cove. In Webster’s Cove she meets an eerie girl, Sissy, who automatically makes the vacation atrocious…See More

My "Every Day" Advice for David Levithan on "Every Day" (SPOILERS!!)

Posted on January 12, 2017 at 10:00pm 0 Comments

What is more disappointing than working for hours on something but coming out with a failing result? For example, you spend three hours baking a cake, but it ends up burning and is no longer edible (excuse me, I am a bit hungry right now). You feel miserable and as if you had waste your time for nothing. This represents how I felt after reading Every Day by David Levithan. (spoiler) While I was reading this book about A, the main…
