Yesterday, I became aware of an issue happening in our country right now. One of my friends posted a status saying "Wonder if any spanish speaking people are wondering why so man people are talking about soup?" As an extemper on my school's speech team, I checked the headlines immeditately after and became aware of SOPA and PIPA. PIPA is an acronym for the Protect IP Act.
PIPA, if passed, will give U.S. corporations and the government the right to seek legal action with any website…
