Villians-"is an evil character in a story, whether a historical narrative or, especially, a work of fiction. The villain usually is the antagonist." (Wikipedia) or "To be notorious for being better…Continue
"I've read all of these books!! Who knew we had such a similar taste in books, except for all the horror ones. You do a great job reviewing these books though. Makes me wanna read them again... so maybe I will."
"Wow this brings back memories. I'm super creeped out right now, and I don't plan on reading this. Anyways, I would NOT bring someone back from the dead... definitely not a good idea especially after watching this movie. And I agree with…"
"Lauren! I must say, you are a very talented blogger! I too, am (was) a fervent fan of Harry Potter, and this blog makes me kind of sad. I finished the Harry Potter saga at least four years ago and I haven't touched a book of the series since.…"
"Wow Lo it's very impressive that you read all the Harry Potter books in one month. I'm not surprised though! I will definitely have to read these at some point since I haven't already.. eek. I like how you added the potter puppet…"
"I did not read 13 reasons why or perfect chemistry but they seem like great books! I have read secret life of bees and I really liked it too. I liked how you described it as "empowering" I think that that is a great word to…"
"I am currently reading this book and I find it interesting how she portrays both Kristina and Bree. This book has a very powerful vibe to it and not is only entertaining, but also informative. Great review!"
"Obviously, I like doing fun things, and hanging out with friends, but "you only live once" is a terrible excuse for doing stupid things that get you in trouble. I think YOLO needs to just stop being used.
Despite disliking the term, I…"
"I think YOLO is a good phrase to live by, to some extent, because it encourages you to come out of your comfort zone and take a risk. When I look back on my life I don't want to think of all the things I could have…"
"If you only live once, why would you want to do something stupid to mess up your life? I understand this may not always apply to the little things, but using YOLO as an excuse doesn't really make sense when you are about to do something that…"
"Great blog! I've never really got the whole YOLO thing to begin with and you summed up what I thought about it perfectly. I hear it all the time now and it's honestly really annoying. You don't have to justify your actions by saying…"
"I think that YOLO has a good meaning, but it has been used way to much. It has become something of a joke, and every time I hear someone say it, it makes me cringe. It is way too mainstream now, but its meaning is still a good message."
"I can see where people like the term YOLO and hate the term YOLO. While in some cases "you only live once" can have a generally positive meaning to try things new, it is also obviously abused to do stupid crap. I think the common hatred…"
"This post was spot on. The phrase "you only live one" seems like a fine message to me, but as might be expected, people manipulate its meaning and use it as an excuse to rationalize or justify their questionable behavior. I don't…"
"I agree with you at certain points. YOLO could be used is such positive ways, to try adventrous things like skydiving. but it is misused and leads kids to make beyond stupid deiciosn that could lead to there death like...jump off bridges. But in…"
Just looking at the picture of Tanner being hoisted in the air, just reminds me how much fun our class is! it's so sad that this year is winding down. Our class, "The Joy Luck Club Kids Per. 3" is the best. We sure made that clear when we broke the world record in "Mr. A's Writer's Week - Fantastic Flyer Folding Competition Edition". Period 6 didn't have a chance after seeing how many we were cranking out. haha
