Reading for the Soul

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn

For the last book blog post of my sophomore year I read Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. Outside in the fantastic weather, it was a very relaxing read. I really liked the book's ability to keep me reading, and I am a very picky reader. Norah is a girl who just came out of a very long and unhealthy relationship with a guy named Tal and she is trying to get over it. Nick is a guy who was left by the girl he thought he was in love with named Tris…

Sophomore year is coming to a close and with that comes the start of Summer 2014! I want to accomplish a whole list of things during this 3 months away from school. Here's a list of some activities I wish to complete:

3. Go on bike rides during the day.

4. Relax on the beach (maybe get a tan?)

5. Practice swimming and water polo to prepare for the sports seasons coming up!

6. Go to Six…

Paper Towns by John Green

I want to be a Margo Roth Spiegelman. I want to be known by my full name because I'm just that extraordinary. I want to be able to just do crazy things like break into Sea World at 5 in the morning and then leave town and never come back. I don't want to live an "average" life with a husband and 2.5 kids. But I am a Quentin Jacobsen. I am afraid of change and taking chances. I always think about doing the sort of crazy things that Margo does, but I end up hyperventilating in the car like…
