Started Oct 23, 2013 0 Replies

My class recently finished reading Hamlet. Toward the end of the play (SPOILER ALERT) as everyone begins to die, Hamlet makes a speech about how essentially, death is the great equalizer. He mentions…Continue

"I haven't read this book yet, but everyone says it is great. It would be cool to be pick to be one of the people to react to movies. Now I have to see the movie. Thanks for posting the video!"

""Being forced to discuss what you've seen" at Writer's Week is a little harsh for me. We all naturally discuss what we like/dislike about certain performances during WW anyway, so why not do it on a cool forum like the Ning? I…"

"Definitely agree here Brenna. Sophomore year, I absolutely loved the Ning and like you, checked it when for fun! Not realy sure why I've lost interest now... The concept of the Ning is pretty innovative. This is a forum where kids have a little…"

No actual broken glass, just broken dreams in Hopkins's Glass

Not sadness or anger, just disappointment. That is the one word that expresses the feeling that I walked away with after Ellen Hopkins's Glass, second book in the Crank trilogy. Just to be clear, this post will not give away any major spoilers, but you should probably only be reading this post if you have at least read the first book in the series. :) First off, rewind. I must say that where…See More

I'm in the middle of the book right now. My seventh grade little cousin texted me about a month ago and asked if I'd take her to see the movie. Of course I said yes, but I knew I had to read the book first. That's what really urged me to read The Fault in Our Stars. If she was reading and raving about it, I had to too. I want to know: what made you want to read the novel? And after this reaction video, what is your reaction? Feel free to answer one of the questions the interviewers ask too! I'd love to hear your response! Sent from my iPad

Cranking out Crank

Posted on January 13, 2014 at 7:49am 1 Comment

Writing a blog post at the very last minute is oh-so typical of me if you know me. If you don't, you may have stumbled upon my column on procrastination and pleasing people in the Viking Logue and learned how that is a horrific habit of mine (that I'm dillengently trying to break in the new year). If neither of these instances are true for you, just know that right now, I am cranking out this blog post at the eleventh hour on the night before my Ning log is due.…
