Hungry for Knowledge

The more you read, the more you know OR the more you learn the less you know? Which is it?

I think it's the more you learn the less you know, because you become more aware of how little you actually know and how much more you have to learn.

I think it's both, because you gain more knowledge with everything you read, although when you learn more, the more you realize many things are not as they seem, hence you realize how much you don't know.

Both. You could be reading about something that really interest you, that you would end up remembering forever. While if you learn useless info, the less you truly know.

I agree that it is both, I really love this picture. I definitely remember some things that I have read that I really liked and it still stays in my head to this day.

I think it's the more you learn the less you know. There isn't a finite amount of knowledge, so no matter how much you learn, there will still be something that you don't understand.

In general, I think we need to strive to educate ourselves, and not end up becoming 17th century explorers who were sure that the world was flat :)

The more one knows, the less they know. The more they know, the more they weep.

Heard something like that before.

I think its the more you read the more you know. Whenever I am at school I would much rather just read a short packet on something rather than having my teacher talk for thirty minutes.

I think that we focus too much on knowing things rather than understanding them and I think we begin to understand more when we read more

I think knowledge is one of the most important aspects of life. I love reading to learn more about any given topic. This picture is perfect!
